The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University (ČVUT) is preparing to showcase an impressive array of advanced technologies at the upcoming IDET defense and security trade fair. Their exhibition will highlight innovative solutions developed in collaboration with the Czech Army, industrial partners, and NATO international projects.
The showcase will feature an exciting range of technological demonstrations, including autonomous robotic systems designed for critical infrastructure protection. One standout innovation is a ground robot capable of operating without GPS signals, equipped with advanced sensors and the ability to patrol and respond to potential security breaches. The robot can autonomously navigate challenging terrains, detect intrusions, and communicate with human security personnel.
Beyond robotics, ČVUT will also present cutting-edge technologies in cybersecurity, network simulation, and acoustic detection. Their systems include tools for emulating communication networks, testing system resilience, and even an AI-powered acoustic gunshot detection system that can precisely locate shooters and identify weapon types. These technologies represent significant advancements in defense and security technologies, demonstrating the university's commitment to developing practical, high-tech solutions for modern security challenges.
