A Polish robotics startup has unveiled a groundbreaking humanoid robot that's pushing the boundaries of what we thought was possible in artificial intelligence and mechanical design. Called Protoclone, this robot is unlike anything we've seen before, featuring an incredibly complex system that mimics human movement with astonishing precision.

The robot boasts an impressive 1,000 artificial fibers simulating human muscles, a skeletal structure with 206 bones, and over 500 sensors. What makes Protoclone truly remarkable is its ability to move in ways that seem almost human-like, with more than 200 degrees of freedom in its movements. While it currently doesn't have a face, its physical capabilities have already captured the imagination of people online, generating both excitement and a bit of unease about the future of robotics.

The company behind this innovation, Clone, isn't just creating a technological marvel for show. They've designed Protoclone with practical applications in mind, particularly as a potential home assistant or personal helper. The robot will be available in a limited production run of just 279 units, called Clone Alpha. One of its most intriguing features is a "telekinesis training platform" that allows users to teach the robot new tasks and customize its behavior, suggesting a future where robots could become increasingly adaptable and personalized.
