Oregon State University (OSU) is making significant strides in attracting Taiwanese students by showcasing its strengths in artificial intelligence, robotics, and sustainability. During a recent event, OSU President Murthy highlighted the university's commitment to providing a top-notch research environment and industry connections that prepare students for successful careers. With a diverse student body of nearly 38,000 from over 100 countries, OSU is particularly welcoming to international students, including those from Taiwan.

The university is recognized as a leading research institution, with plans to double its research funding by 2030. OSU boasts the largest computer science program in the United States and is known for its innovative programs in various fields, including engineering and climate science. The upcoming Jen-Hsun and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex, funded by OSU alumni, will further enhance research capabilities, particularly in AI and climate science.
